We've all been there. That moment when you find yourself  waking up one day and wondering when your life become this monotonous cycle--not unlike Gregor Samsa in Kafka's notorious Metamorphosis.

But there's hope! You, unlike Gregor, aren't destined to wake up as a slimy insect. A 30-day change of perspective can prevent that from happening.

What kind of 30-day change? It really can be anything! Trying a different hobby, going on an adventure, making something (a painting) you never thought you had talent for!

In his short but sweet TEDtalk, Matt Cuts, a software engineer and head of Google's Webspam team, divulges how his 30-day sprints to try something new have transformed his life. From climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to writing a whole novel, taking on these short challenges has brought new opportunities to his life.

As Cutts says, "You can do anything for 30 days...the next 30 days are going to pass whether you like it or not." So what are you waiting for?
